LAUNCH OF THE BOOK "OUR JOURNEY TO THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS"

“Our Journey to the World Championships.” Such is the name of a new photographic book that will be introduced at the For Bikes trade fair in Prague on Saturday, April 2. It will be christened by the author of its photographs, Michal Červený, and the organizers of the MTB world Championships in Nové Město na Moravě, which is the largest and the most important cycling event to take place in the Czech Republic this year.

The court photographer of Jaroslav Kulhavý and the UCI documented with his cameras all five previous World Cups that took place in the Vysočina Aréna. And it was in these successful five years that the best shots in the book were taken. The christening will take place on Saturday at 11 AM, and the book can be purchased for CZK 300.

The stand of the Championships will offer both tickets and early merchandising products, such as official T-shirts or socks with world championship motives that is soon to take place. Besides that, you can bring a poster home with you, or enjoy a cup of delicious Café Reserva coffee or a glass of wine – a special World Championships edition made by Vinařství Sonberk.

Petr Vaněk, the Chairman of the Word Championships Organizing Commitee, said: “Should any traders and businesspeople be interested in supporting the championships, they may obtain a free poster to put in windows of their cycling shops, for which we will be grateful.”
